Advent Midweek Worship beginning Thursday, December 1st
Advent here at St. Tim’s is a time to wait for the fulfillment of Christ’s kingdom in peace, justice, and love. As the followers of Jesus, our waiting is not sedentary. It is not without hope!
On four Thursday evenings – December 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd, we will gather at 6:00 p.m. for a time of worship and prayer that reminds us we may await the Advent of our Lord with purpose, faith, and hope. Following worship, all are welcome to a simple supper of food, companionship, and support.
Christmas Eve Worship, Saturday, December 24th at 6:30 p.m.
Please join us for a worship of Word, song, and candlelight. All are welcome to worship Christ the Lord, Immanuel, “God with Us!” Following worship, join us once again this year for Christmas treats. Bring your friends!
Christmas Day Worship, Sunday, December 25th at 9:30 a.m.
We won’t have Christmas on a Sunday for another 6 years, so you don’t want to miss this worship opportunity! We’re planning a more casual experience with cookies, coffee and lots of singing. Join in a simple agape meal with bread and juice, celebrating the birth of Jesus and the light, hope and joy He brings to the world. Bring along a loaf of bread – any kind, sweet bread or regular. These will be blessed as part of the meal and everyone will bring one home with them.
